Lady Gaga: Jesus is Like a Bisexual Dancer

Lady Gaga stirred up a bit of religious controversy during her concert in Cleveland – when she compared Jesus to a bisexual dancer.

According to a report in The Plain-Dealer, Lady Gaga declared during her sold-out concert that one of her bisexual dancers was like Jesus, because, “Jesus loves everybody.”

During a stop in Toronto, one reviewer noted how she delivered “a deliciously profane Catholic prayer to Jesus’s inclusive nature conducted while writhing orgasmically ont he proscenium in a black-leather teddy while slatered in fake blood.”

For the record, Elvis never did that.

It’s not the first time the flamboyant performer has raised religious eyebrows. Last month she was taken to task by the Catholic League of her music video, “Alejandro.”

The video featured lots of half-naked people doing rather inappropriate things to Catholic symbols.

It led Catholic League president Bill Donohue to write:

“Dressed occasionally as a nun in a glossy-red habit, the Madonna wannabe flashes the cross, swallows a rosary and manages to get raped by her S&M boyfriends. Hence, she has now become the poster girl for American decadence and Catholic bashing, sans the looks and talent of her role model.”

During an appearance on CNN’s Larry King Live, she reportedly said, “So I suppose you could say I’m a quite religious woman that is very confused about religion.”

Donohue said that might be an understatement.

Not OK, Gaga! Stefani Germanotti was raised Catholic! She knows better! Join me in praying for her conversion :(

You can't go from bisexual to straight or gay to straight. Please don't waste your breath "praying the gay away". I know you will anyway, so don't worry, I'll pray for you too (not pray the gay away for you, but pray you find a better use of your time).

I like Lady GaGa music. She is like a New MaDonna. I am apalled at her saying that Jesus is like a Bisexual Dancer. He does love all but hates anyone's sin.Jesus wants anyone to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior,One who died on the cross for all our sins, and rose agaign in three days victorious over death.Jesus is Holy, and God,Jesus, and The Holy Spirit are One,and all three separate.Respect God and His Holiness Lady GaGa, Charlotte Deneice

…But I tell you that all men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. Mt 12:36

GaGa will do and say whatever she needs to to keep her name continuously in the media, if she were a true talent, she wouldn't need to do such things.

I attended her recent concert in Indy (right after the Cleveland stop). She made what I thought was a loving and reverent reference to Jesus. She was on her back and said that Jesus in Heaven "loves everyone". I am a born again evangelical Christian. My understanding of Jesus is that He – as the living son of God – does indeed love everyone. His parting commandment to the disciples was to love one another. He saved the woman caught in adultery from being stoned (she was not punished at all). He forgave the criminal on the cross. His love is boundless. Gaga's reference was meaningful to me as she used the present tense. She didn't say that "Jesus was a man who loved everyone." She references her faith time and again. Gaga mentions God or Jesus in interviews (most recently Larry King), she thanks God for awards and she leads her crew in prayer before each concert. She toured what she called "sacred and holy" Jerusalem last August wearing a large cross. She puts her faith in action. She has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars – perhaps millions – for charities and speaks out for human rights and helping others. I see her as a sister in Christ. She doesn't proselytize yet she has made her faith known many times by words and deeds.

It's hard to believe that idiots still follow her. Yes, if you follow her and support her by listening to her music…you're an idiot.

Calm yourselves. I was at that show, and no one was offended by what she said. She had cheers and applauses throughout the whole concert. What Gaga had said was, "I don't know why people insist that religion is only for a certain kind of people; a certain race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation! Because I'm pretty sure as I stare up into heaven, bleeding to death every night in front of 20,000 people, that I would not be allowed to play an arena if Jesus didnt love everybody! Jesus loves everybody!" Then she went to her bisexual German dancer named Michael and said he likes American girls AND American boys, "just like Jesus, Michael loves everybody!" Her shows are meant to make her fans feel accepted, so she was making a point after 1 of her songs to tell everyone that no matter who you are, you're loved and accepted and that Jesus loves you.

Yes Jesus loves everybody because He made us, thats why He died for us all, but you can't partake in Heaven and all of the blessings that He has in store for His children – those who accept Him as their personal Lord and Saviour and accept His death and suffering (the ultimate sacrifice) Romans 10:9, if you haven't done these things…confessing with your mouth that Jesus Christ died and Rose again and as Lord of All and truly/sincerely believing it in your heart. Please don't let lady gaga trick and deceive you into thinking that you can do, say, think, be etc anything and God be pleased with you. Sin is never pleasing in God's eyes. He doesn't want any of us to perish but to have everlasting life, but YOU MUST choose Him in order to receive. Romans 10:9

I am glad some people see that Jesus is and was straight not bisexual — Hell is a real place and those that dont repent sin will end up there evil is real — I am not a Bible basher going to church or praying is up to individuals there are many religions none perfect
but the lies this woman potrays on religion are false , Let's see if she disses Muhamed or Krishna next or is it just Christ no she wont becuase the outcome wont be so tolerated

Anyone and/or anything can be a god or called god in someone's life, that doesn't mean they're talking about Jesus. And doing "good works or good deeds" is not what gets you into Heaven or save your soul (Romans 10:9). Nothing about lady gaga's lifestyle, fashion, crazy acts on stage and weird and unnecessary outfits reflects Jesus Christ, the One and Only true and living God. I will pray for her that she repents and pray for you that your eyes will be open to the tricks and deception of the enemy, he will do anything to get a soul, even if that means disguising himself as an angel of light to deceive the children (born again) of God; a wolf in sheep's clothing, walking to and fro seeking whom he may devour.

How about we give the entire quote before we throw her into the flames of hell. she delivered a serious message about the love of Jesus before the pun made to introduce her guitarist.
Her methods are unconventional and most people who will ever read this page would liken her more to the anti-christ than christ, but she has done more (on a mass scale) in way of empowering people to love themselves for who they are and to believe that God loves them for who they are than any preacher i can think of. some of us are placed where the rest of you couldn’t go if you tried. many of these things–dressing as a nun in alejandero, etc–are social/political statements, not religious ones. the entire song and video Judas was her working out why she repeatedly goes back to the wrong kind of man, and for me inspires me to consider why i keep going back to my pitfalls. listen to her own words on stage and in interviews, and don’t just judge by snips here or there. that’s to be said for anyone. Be careful who you judge as unholy. you never know if your just bumping into an elbow on the body of christ.
