I don’t know if it’s true, but now that we’ve heard Sharon Bialek it seems to me we need to hear from Herman Cain.

Oh, he did issue a statement denying that he’d ever sexually harassed anyone, and it’s also true that the events Sharon Bialek described probably don’t meet the precise legal definiton of sexual harassment. More like caddish behavior.

Still, after a week of vague allegations here is an allegation that has a face and a name and some very specific details. So it is different than the previous revelations from the liberal media. Cain has turned the tables on the media accusing them of a “high tech lynching” in bringing these 12 year old harassment allegations forward.

There certainly is a reason to think the liberal media would want to try to destroy a black conservative, and perhaps the liberal media has been guilty of that charge for a week.

But this is different. I’m not poltical strategist, but it strikes me that a blanket denial doesn’t work this time. Seems to me Cain has to say something. Perhaps, I was tipsy, behaved badly, embarassed about it, wish it hadn’t happened.

Or.. the lady lies. I didn’t do anything like that. Something that comes close the the specifics of her allegation.
