Holiday Decorating Dangers
‘Tis the season to get hurt at home. Here’s an annual warning to those of us hanging lights or ornaments this holiday season.
FOX News Radio’s Chris Foster reports:
Audio clip:
Deck The Halls (Music) … Just be careful about it. An annual warning from the Consumer Product Safety Commission which says holiday decorating injuries are on the rise. 13 thousand emergency room visits last year for things like ladder falls from stringing lights, and cuts from broken glass ornaments. The CPSC is also reminding people to check those Christmas tree lights. Fires from those are blamed for four deaths a year on average, and 18 million dollars in property damage.
