Police Seek Motive in Murder of 9 Year Old Indiana Girl

They know who did it and how. Now it’s a question of why in Fort Wayne, IN where police say a man has confessed to murdering the nine year-old girl he was babysitting.

Residents in a Fort Wayne, IN community are still reeling, after 39 year old Mike Plumadore admitted to murdering the 9 year, telling police he killed Aliahna Lemmon with a brick and dismembered her, throwing her remains in a dumpster. He originally said on Friday she disappeared, before confessing to the crime on Monday.

Local business owner Robbi Roberts says the community quickly went from optimistic to heartbroken:
