Naked Paddlers Get Stuck at Sea
An embarrassing end to an attempt at a Transatlantic journey by a pair of amateur paddlers.
FOX News Radio’s Alastair Wanklyn reports:
Audio clip:
Two brothers build a paddle boat and set out from Spain aiming to reach the Americas in a hundred days, breaking previous records.
It’s a 3,000 mile trip, but they get only 40 miles when the rudder breaks and they call for help.
The expedition was drawn up over a beer in a bar. And the rescuers might just have rolled their eyes: when they arrived they found the paddlers were trying to do it naked.
