Former Mr. USA and proud Newt Gingrich supporter John DeFendis called in to defend the Former Speaker against Tom and other callers who said Newt’s “religion attacks” on Mitt Romney went too far! DeFindis says he worked with Newt Gingrich and thinks he’d be a great president!

    There are plenty of engineers in this country.

    What there is a lack of is CHEAP engineers.

    The H1B Visa program allows companies to import cheaper foreign engineers who are only here temporarily. This is the best of both worlds for many companies, cheaper than a U.S. citizen engineer and no long term carrying costs (salary, benefits, 401k, etc).

    I work in the engineering world…I've seen lots of jobs available for mechanical engineers. Especially those with Pro/ENGINEER (Now Creo Parametric)…Also Solidworks. Heck, I've put many engineers that were victim of the auto industry problems back to work in Michigan in the medical device and defense industries…
