Tornadoes Sweep Across The Midwest And South Killing Dozens

For the second time in a week, deadly storms have spawned tornadoes in the Midwest and South.
Deaths have been reported in Ohio, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia and Indiana. One of the tornadoes tore through the town of Marysville, IN about 20 miles north of Louisville, Kentucky, causing extensive damage.

Several homes in Northern Alabama were destroyed when tornadoes touched down in the Huntsville area.

State officials say the state prison in Limestone County was also struck. The weather has been particularly violent with Government forecasters issuing tornado warnings with the words ‘take cover now’. It comes days after storms elsewhere in the South killed two people.

Tornado sirens wailed in Harrisburg, Illinois yet again on Friday. That town already suffered severe tornado damage earlier in the week.
