Adam Mayes, Wanted for Murder/Kidnapping, DEAD; Missing Sisters SAFE
Adam Mayes, wanted for the kidnapping of a Tennessee mother and her three daughters – and the murder of the mother and oldest daughter – is dead. The FBI tells FOX the 35-year-old shot himself in the head as authorities closed in in Union County, Mississippi. The two remaining daughters were found alive and safe.
Mayes had been charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of Jo Ann Bain and her daughter 14-year-old daughter, Adrienne, last month. The bodies of both women were found buried at Mayes’ Mississippi home. Mayes’ wife and mother-in-law were also charged in the abduction and deaths.
