Obama Campaign’s Tax Offer to Romney
There’s a new offer on the table from Obama’s re-election campaign regarding Mitt Romney’s taxes.
FOX News Radio’s Rich Johnson reports from Washington:
Audio clip:
The Obama re-election campaign is offering to stop all criticism of Romney over tax returns if he’ll release three more years’ of returns – a total of five years. Romney has said he’ll release the past two years of returns.
In a written response, Romney campaign manager Matt Rhodes is not specifically refusing the request. He says: ‘It’s clear that President Obama wants to talk about Romney’s tax returns instead of issues like jobs, the economy and federal spending.’ Rhodes says, Romney will continue to lay out his plan for a stronger middle class.

Do NOT release more returns .. There is NO constitutional or statutory requirement for a presidential candidate to release ANY tax returns. Obama needs to publicly Ask Harry Reid to disclose his source for his comment that Romney didn't pay taxes for 10 years….

We all have to honor the the same 50,000 tax law pages so what is the big deal of Romney's tax returns. Have the lying, cheating, and corrupt Obama release his last 10 years of tax returns. I do not blame Obama, I blame the many stupid people of the United States that either do not what to know what is going on with Obama or does not care what is going on with the United States and how bad it is going.

I would offer one years tax return for each college packet, one for file of why law license was turned in and another for how he got a Ct. Social Security number info.

How about Romney release 5 years of his returns, and Obama release his school records. Or… how about we just talk about how each guy will improve the economy in the next 4 years (you know… the relevant stuff).
